Since 1988, Alan Robandt has offered clients a well edited collection of interior design resources — mirrors, lighting, objects, and furniture.  Catering to the needs of the design trade and residential consumers, the collection remains sophisticated and cutting edge.  Our client base includes leading designers, dealers, showrooms, and consumers in New York, London, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Florence, Houston, Toronto, San Francisco, Dallas, Miami, and more.

In 2006, after fifteen years at our Kinzie Street, Chicago location, in the shadow of the Merchandise Mart, opportunity presented itself in the form of a magnificent, crumbly, old, three story, 1863 commercial building in a sleepy little town, ninety-five miles from River North, and twenty miles from the beaches and dunes, in Michigan.  The building had a 19th century name, the Union Block, and a 19th century history as well.  Now you’ll find us in the center of Buchanan, Michigan’s National Register Historic District just above Pears Mill and the Buchanan Farmers’ Market, at the corner of Front Street and Mill Alley.
